Concerning Recent Changes...

With this new version, the Liquid Story Binder XE trial period has been reset for all non-registered users — a 30 non-consecutive day restart giving you a second chance to try out all of Liquid Story Binder XE’s many features.

Much of the Planner environment has been re-designed. Replacing the old ‘Association’ view modes are two new ‘Synopsis’ view modes. A plain, multi-paragraph synopsis can now be applied to each individual Planner item. Choose ‘View Mode’ from the Planner ‘File’ menu, or click the ‘View Mode’ toolbar icon.

The Planner ‘Preference’ menu has been moved to the Planner ‘File’ menu under ‘Mode’, shortening the menu width.

Type Mode icons have been added to the Planner toolbar for quick mode changes. Quickly switch between your favorite document types with just a single-click.

A ten position progress graph has been added as part of the Planner ‘Status’ item option. Choose ‘Status’ from the Planner ‘Content’ menu. Use the ‘Completion Level’ progress bar to change the ‘Status’ option for all selected items.

Chapter, Builder and Journal ‘Statusbars’ are now customizable. Choose ‘Chapter Statusbars’ using the ‘Preferences’ dialog to select various statistical and document properties to create your own unique display. See the help documentation (under Statusbars) for further details.

An ‘Association’ type mode has been added the Planner, Sequence, Storyboard and Mindmap file types. This mode allows users to open all like-named files simultaneously. Have a Chapter, Checklist, Note and Gallery window open all at once — with just one double-click of the mouse. Choose ‘Association Mode’ from the given ‘Mode’ menu. Also, use one of the various ‘Association Preferences’ to determine how you would best like existing windows to be closed before switching ‘Associations’.

Dossiers now include several 'Edit Mode' options. Essentially, the various edit modes (left, right, bottom, top) disable direct editing in favor of command-line edit boxes. Choose 'Edit Mode' from the Dossier 'File' menu or click the Dossier 'Change View' toolbar icon. Double-click direct editing is the default mode.

A ‘Character Counting’ property has been added to the Chapter, Builder and Journal ‘Statusbar’. Character counting tallies the total number of numbers and letters (including punctuation) minus Line Notes and paragraph breaks. To include spaces and tabs, use the %characters+ Statusbar property.

It is now possible to import multiple images directly into specific Galleries. Choose ‘Import’ from the Gallery ‘File’ menu.

Sequence, Storyboard and Mindmap windows now include ‘File’ menu ‘Mode’ and ‘Create’ sub-menus.

Newly saved ‘Layouts’ now position all un-opened type windows based on currently opened documents.

The ‘Word Usage’ tool now includes phrase counting.

The Liquid Story Binder XE spell check now does a much better job handling contractions.
